The Young
Children in the Older Toddler Program will meet for formal instruction on
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:15 until 11:45. These children will begin their discovery of
academics through structured play, art, stories and movement. We will stress, colors, shapes, fine and
gross motor skills and using our manners.
In this program we will start to teach self-help skills such as potty
training, using buttons, snaps and zippers.
Learning will be enjoyable and the students entrusted to our care will
thrive in many ways. For those children
staying for the day, we will have lunch at 12:00. Following lunch there will be a school wide
quiet time from 12:45 through 2:30. After quiet time, students will play in the
center until their parents return to pick them up. This will be a structured playtime.
On non-instruction days, a structured daycare program will be followed.
